easily walk to parks, museums, and local eateries

after spending three nights in a very nice room, I enjoyed the proximity to attractions like the Kyoto International Manga Museum, just a quick 15-minute stroll away, as well as plenty of lovely cafes and shops, making it a breeze to explore the city on foot every day.

The stay included an excellent location, just minutes from a fantastic supermarket, which was a major plus for stocking up on snacks. The hotel provided a great eco-friendly cleaning option, but be prepared for an abundance of new dressing gowns, which we didn’t use but ended up with many by the end. While the staff were friendly, they could have offered more options for replenishing in-room drinks and snacks.
